Terps Set for Spring Slate

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland field hockey team is set for its spring slate of games, beginning this week with the Terps Indoor Tournament. It will be the first of seven spring events for the Terrapins.
After this weekend's event, the Terrapins will participate in the Big Apple Tournament March 5-6. They will host an Under-12 7 vs. 7 tournament April 3.
They will host the U.S. Under-19 National Team on April 9. The next day, Maryland will welcome Syracuse. On April 16, the Terrapins will play Virginia, Wake Forest and James Madison in an even at James Madison in Harrisonburg, Va.
"We are thrilled to start our 2016 spring schedule with a technical and competitive indoor segment," associate head coach Dina Rizzo. "Hosting Syracuse, the Under-19 and Under-17 National Teams will be a great test for our team. We are also excited to head to JMU to finish our spring competition."

Feb. 25: Terp Indoor Tournament (WC Eagles - Pottstown, Pa.; 6:30 p.m.)
March 5-6: Big Apple Indoor Tournament (WC Eagles - Pottstown, Pa.; All Day)
April 3: Under-12 7 vs. 7 event
April 9: Maryland vs. U.S. Under-19 Team (College Park, Md.; 3 p.m.)
April 10: Maryland vs. Syracuse; Under-14 7 vs. 7 event (College Park, Md.; Noon)
April 16: Terps vs. JMU, Virginia, Wake Forest (Harrisonburg, Va.; All Day)
April 23: Under-16, Under-19 7 vs. 7 event
