
Terps Wrap up 3M Augusta Invitational

AUGUSTA, Ga.— The Terps wrapped a busy day of golf on Saturday night, playing a total 36 holes in a shotgun format due to impending weather conditions on Sunday. The Maryland women's golf team ended the day finishing 15th at the 2016 3M Augusta Invitational.
The Terps were lead by Junior Panitta Yusabai, who shot three consecutive rounds of 75 to end the tournament with a 9-over 225 (75-75-75). Yusabai had the best finish for the Terps placing tied for 32nd.
Maryland freshman Ludovica Scandroglio also had a very productive weekend for the Terps, shooting team-low rounds of 74 and 73 for the first and third round, respectively. Scandroglio ended the tournament tied for 46th with a plus-13 229 (74-82-73).
Junior Alexandra Papell was very consistent this weekend, finishing the weekend with a 232 (77-78-77). She had the third best finish for the team ending the tournament tied for 56th.
Freshman Ludovica Farina and senior Heidi Baek rounded at the lineup for the Terps finishing tied for 70th and 73rd, respectively.
The Maryland women's golf team will be back on the course on March 20 when they will compete in the 2016 Briar's Creek Invitational located in Johns Island, S.C.
