Hey Terp Fans!
This week we had a full practice Tuesday then a nice rest day on Wednesday. Then we had team events to get ready for the Maryland Five Meet. The GymTerps took on Yale, Pittsburgh, Texas Women's and George Washington. We started on a bye for this meet, meaning we had some extra time before warm-ups and competition. Then it was time to get the party started on vault. Everyone had a really great time competing at our last home meet.
Today was also our senior night where we honored our 3 amazing seniors, Kathy Tang, Bailey Philbin and Alex Zimmermann. They have all been such an important part of our team and everyone is saddened by the thought that this is their last season with us. The tears started to run as each senior went down the line of coaches and teammates, followed by old gymnastics videos and college highlights. All of them will be greatly missed next year and never forgotten. We love our seniors!
The GymTerps would like to thank all the Girl Scout troops that came to support us today. And also all the fans that came to our home meets! See you next year back in the Xfinity Center!!
