
Durkin Throws Out First Pitch at Orioles Game

BALTIMORE - Maryland football head coach DJ Durkin threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Orioles/Rockies game on Wednesday night at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Throwing from the base of the mound, Durkin fired a high fastball to Oriole reliever Mychal Givens that The Oriole Bird called a strike.
Durkin and the Terps are set to open fall camp on August 8 in preparation for the 2016 season, which begins on Saturday, September 3 against Howard at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium.
