Hey Terp fans!

Your GymTerps are halfway through boot camp with only three weeks left! This week we started with T-25 after practice on Monday. On Tuesday we finished with an intense lift and then straight to the ice bath. Wednesday we met with our nutritionist, Colleen, to go over which snacks are beneficial before and after lifts. The best part was getting to eat the snacks after our activity. We also had a relaxing session of yoga on Wednesday to stretch out all our muscles for the week. Thursday consisted of another intense lift and of course another ice bath. GymTerps finished the week with a great practice on Friday and everyone's favorite, ZUMBA!

We had a nice day off on Saturday then were back in action for Sunday Runday. This Sunday Runday we did a circuit which consisted of kettlebells, prowlers, dead lift carries, and sprints. To finish off the workout we sprinted a mile on the bike. Naturally we dominated Sunday Runday as well as the entire week of bootcamp and practice! We had our last meeting with Dr. Lorenzen after Sunday Runday to wrap up a great three weeks of team bonding. We are excited to have him as an extended member of our new tribe this year! To add on to a busy Sunday, we volunteered for Terps Against Hunger and made lunches for less fortunate families in the DC area.
