Terps Ready for Cougar Classic Sunday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's golf team travels to Hanahan, S.C. for the 14th Annual Cougar Classic Sunday-Tuesday.
The three-day tournament will take place at Yeamans Hall Club (Par 72, 6,224 yards) and participating teams include Arkansas, Auburn, UCF, College of Charleston, Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, Clemson, Coastal Carolina, Florida State, Furman, Indiana, Louisville, Michigan, Mississippi State, North Carolina, NC State, Penn State, South Carolina, Wake Forest and Wisconsin.
Freshman Xiaolin Tian led the Terps at the Lady Paladin Invite last weekend, placing 34th with a five-over.
Tian, Ludovica Farina, Panitta Yusabai, Ludovica Scandroglio, and Lauren Salazar will compete for the Terps as the three-day tourney kicks off at 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
