COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2017-18 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Ieshia Small of women's basketball.
Ieshia Small led the Terrapins to two wins in the Miami Thanksgiving Tournament and was named Tournament MVP. Against Miami, she scored a career-high 23 points with 10 rebounds in front of her hometown crowd in Miami. She went 7-10 from the floor and 9-10 from the foul line. She added eight points off the bench vs. Kennesaw State with four steals.
