ROSEMONT, Ill. – After tying her career high with six points, junior attacker Megan Whittle was named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday.

In a 17-13 win at Georgetown, Whittle scored five goals and added an assist. She went 2-for-3 on free positions.

The Glenwood, Md., native is up to 149 career goals.

Whittle shares the honor with Penn State's Madison Carter.

The No. 2 Terps (2-0) host No. 1 North Carolina (3-0) in a rematch of the 2016 NCAA Championship game Saturday. The teams will face off at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium at 3 p.m.
