Each week during the 2016-17 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is senior Brionna Jones from the women's basketball team.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Senior Brionna Jones averaged 17.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, while shooting 82.4 percent (14-17) from the field in the Terps' two road wins this week. At 23-1, the Terrapins are off to their best start in school history.

At Purdue, she went 7-9 from the field and 3-3 from the line for 17 points with 14 boards, 3 steals and 3 assists in just 24 minutes. At Indiana, she went 7-8 from the field with another 14 boards wit 3 steals in 29 minutes.

She leads the league with 16 double-doubles this year, 9 in 11 conference games so far. She leads the nation with her field goal percentage of 70.0 percent.
