COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Junior David Kocher of the Maryland men's golf team was named Big Ten Golfer of the Week Wednesday for the second time in his career.
Kocher earned a fourth-place finish at the Wolfpack Spring Open in Raleigh, N.C. last week, leading the Terrapins to a top-five finish as a team.
He carded a 54-hole total of 207 to finish six-under par for the event, including a pair of 68's in the opening two rounds.
The top-five finish is his second consecutive, and his sixth top-20 finish this season.
