COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland Department of Athletics will participate in a “Week of Giving” May 1-5 on campus and in the surrounding College Park and Baltimore communities.

Coaches and staff members will lend a hand with multiple community service initiatives each day. The Terps will distribute muffins to students and faculty as they begin their day on Monday and will volunteer at the Prince George's Plaza Day Center helping prepare and serve lunch Tuesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday and Friday, members of the department will help pack prepared meals at the Maryland Food Bank in Baltimore. In addition, the Terps will visit Paint Branch Elementary School Friday morning.
