
Taylor Named IWLCA Fast Break Player of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Sophomore goalie Megan Taylor was selected as the IWLCA's Division I Defensive Player of the Week Wednesday evening.
Taylor made a career-high 20 saves against No. 3 Florida last Wednesday while holding them to eight goals. Florida came into the game with the nation's top offense, averaging 16.67 goals per game. The 20 saves ties the most in a game this season by one goalie in Division I.
She also made six saves and allowed just two goals in 30 minutes vs. Michigan last Saturday.
Taylor was also selected as ILWomen's National Defensive Player of the Week and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week.
The Terps (12-0, 2-0 Big Ten) continue Big Ten play at Rutgers (7-5, 1-1) Saturday at 7 p.m.
