COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland Athletics broadcasting and production team has been nominated for a Sports Video Group (SVG)/National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) College Sports Media Award as announced earlier this month.
The Terrapin video staff was named a finalist in the Outstanding Production, PSA, Tease or Marketing Campaign category for their women's gymnastics intro video. This is the second consecutive year Maryland has been named a finalist for a College Sports Media Award.
“We are honored to have one of our videos named a finalist for the second straight year for a College Sports Media Award,” said Assistant AD for Broadcasting and Production Pat Shannon. “It is a testament to the hard work of our talented staff, and high quality productions that our office creates for our Maryland Athletics Department. We appreciate the resources that our administrators provide that allow us to create videos and impact the Maryland community.”
