NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
Paced by six goals from Caroline Steele, the undefeated Maryland women's lacrosse team capped off the fifth perfect season in progam history and its 14th national championship with a 16-13 win over Boston College on May 28 in Gillette Stadium in front of a record crowd of 11,668.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
With a 9-6 victory over Ohio State in the NCAA tchampionship game in Gillette Stadium on May 29, the 2017 Maryland men's lacrosse team brought the championship trophy back to College Park for the first time since 1975.
