Video Production Assistant

The University of Maryland is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time intern position of Video Production Assistant. The position will work as a member of the Intercollegiate Athletics Broadcasting and Production staff, and be under the direct supervision of the Assistant Athletics Director–Broadcasting and Production.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Assistant Director-Production with the day-to-day production needs in the office. These
include: filming, editing, and conceptualizing content for distribution to coaches, social media platforms, as well as internally. - Assist with Terpvision content creation,
taping and editing. - Assist the BTN2GO Coordinator with staffing, scheduling, training, and on-site operations of University of Maryland BTN2GO Program
- Assist with the Maryland Athletics website, Snappy TV account and Youtube page, including all video uploads, publishing notes and distribution communication
- Record press conferences for sports and department
- Assist in server organization and archiving
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required in RTVF, Video Production, or Broadcast Journalism. Experience in live event production, specifically sporting events. Knowledge and demonstrated ability in nonlinear editing. Experience in ENG shooting. Demonstrated general technical knowledge of broadcast equipment. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Must be able to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends.
