ROSEMONT, Ill. - Redshirt goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair has been named Big Ten Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

St. Clair made a career-high six saves in a 0-0 draw with then-No. 4 Indiana in front of nearly 7,000 fans Friday night at Ludwig Field. The Pickering, Ontario, Canada native posted two highlight reel stops in the first overtime to keep Maryland unbeaten in 2017.

Maryland plays host to Rutgers on Big Ten Network Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at Ludwig Field.
