After a solid first two seasons in the NFL, it appears former Maryland wide receiver Stefon Diggs is poised to have a breakout season in 2017.
Diggs wreaked havoc on the Saints' secondary Monday night, catching seven passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns. His night also included some highlight reel worthy grabs.

Yannick Ngakoue also got his 2017 season started with a bang on Sunday.
The second-year defensive end for the Jacksonville Jaguars recorded two sacks and forced two fumbles in a 29-7 victory over the Texans. The two sacks are the most Ngakoue has ever totaled in a game.

In his first game as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, former Maryland wide receiver Torrey Smith connected with Carson Wentz for an impressive 30-yard reception.
Sean Davis helped the Steelers defense control the Browns, totaling three tackles in the win. Nolan Carroll also contributed four tackles to a Cowboys defense that held the Giants to just three points in an opening night victory.
