
Terps Begin 2017-18 at Ocean Course Invite

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Maryland women's golf team kicked off the 2017-18 season at the Ocean Course Invitational on Monday.
Sophomore Xiaolin Tian leads the Terps through the first two rounds, posting a 147 (73-74) and tying for 15th place.
Freshman Laura Van Respaille is tied for 29th through the first 36 holes with a 151 (76-75). Fellow classmate Charlotte Lafourcade is tied for 59th with a 157 (77-80).
Junior Ludovica Farina heads into the third round tied for 63rd (77-82) and Virunpat Olankitkunchai finished with a 167.
The Terps – who currently sit in 11th place – will look to advance in the standings Tuesday morning when third round play commences.
