The Video Editor will work as member of the Intercollegiate Athletics Broadcasting and Production staff, and be under the direct supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director of Broadcasting and Production.
The Video Editor will edit creative audio visual content for Terpvision video board shows, including, but not limited to: team intro videos, pump-up videos, promotional videos, crowd prompts, sponsorship videos and special recognition. Will edit creative audio/visual content for umterps.com and social media platforms, including, but not limited to: social media features, game highlights, interviews, TV shows and other departmental features. Will serve as primary motion graphic designer in the creation of content, including but not limited to: headshots, interstitials, crowd prompts and animations. Will edit creative audio/visual content for departmental and individual team purposes, including, but not limited to: highlight videos, recruiting videos, year-in-review videos, ticket commercials, hall of fame videos, Terp Awards and holiday videos. Will create, input and oversee captioning for short-form videos produced by ICA. Assist the Assistant Athletics Director for Broadcasting and Production, in any projects outside of essential duties, as needed. Work with outside production companies or contractors, and other creative duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree required in RTVF, Video Production, graphics, or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with non-linear editing (Premiere, Final Cut), motion graphics programs (After Effects, Cinema 4D), and graphics programs (Photoshop and Illustrator).
- Proficiency with all Mac systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to produce and create new and exciting video and graphical content.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends.
