Solomon Eye Terp of the Week: Bodil Keus

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2018-19 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is sophomore Bodil Keus of the field hockey team.

Sophomore Bodil Keus helped the Terrapins to a win at No. 2 Connecticut in their rematch of the 2017 NCAA title game Sunday. She opened a 2-0 lead for the Terps, scoring their first two goals. Both were hard shots ripped off of penalty corners. The first came just 4:02 into the match and the second was 10 minutes later. On the other side of the ball, Keus and the Terps' defense held the nation's top-ranked offense to just five shots and did not allow a penalty corner in the first 60 minutes.

No. 2 Maryland is now 12-0 overall and have eight wins over ranked teams. The Terrapins are off to their best start since 2015, when they started 15-0.
