COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2018-19 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Emily Bracher of the women's cross country team.
Senior Emily Bracher continued her excellence this season as she finished 14th individually at NCAA Regionals last weekend, securing NCAA All-Region honors. Her performance at NCAA Regionals, along with her performance throughout the season, earned her a bid to compete individually in the NCAA Cross Country Championships for the first time in her career. Bracher has finished as the Terps' No. 1 runner in every event she's competed in this season.
University of Wisconsin-Madison will host the championships, Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course located in Madison, Wisconsin. The women's race will begin at 11:45 a.m. Eastern Time.
