Assistant Coach, Softball (Pitching Coach)

The Assistant Coach, Softball, will assist the Head Coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive, NCAA Division I women's softball program that competes in the Big Ten Conference. Responsibilities include coaching, pitching, recruiting, scouting, travel coordination, program administration, fund-raising and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach will develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public and have knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential.
Bachelor's degree required. At least two years of coaching competitive softball required.
Two years coaching and/or competing at the NCAA Division I, Professional or International level is preferred. Hitting or pitching experience preferred.
