Terrapin Club Announces Terpoint Update

In November 2018, the Terrapin Club communicated the changes made to how Terpoints are awarded as a result of the tax law changes. Since that time, Terpoints have accrued only for contributions to the Seating Fund or other non-tax-deductible gifts.
Over the last several months, Maryland Athletics has conducted additional research and worked in conjunction with the University of Maryland College Park Foundation to find a solution to allow Terpoints to be earned for tax-deductible gifts.
Effective immediately, we will award Terpoints for all gifts whether or not a tax-deduction is received. Any donations made from Nov. 1, 2018-Nov. 20, 2019 in the affected areas will receive retroactive Terpoints. The Tier System that was previously communicated for the allocation of non-home event tickets and parking will be eliminated. As of Nov. 21, 2019 all tickets (home, away, and postseason) and parking will be assigned in Terpoint priority order.
The table below outlines the updated differences in the Annual Giving funds.
