LINCOLN, Neb. -- The University of Maryland volleyball team lost to #6 Nebraska Friday night in the Devaney Sports Center in three sets, 20-25, 15-25, 18-25.
Nebraska edged the Terps in kills (43), aces (6), blocks (6), assists (40) and digs (33).Â
Junior outside hitter
Erika Pritchard led the team with 12 kills, the only Terp to finish with double-digit kills, while
Rebekah Rath added seven and
Katie Myers contributed four.
Erika Pritchard,
Katie Myers, and
Maddie Naumann combined for Maryland's three service aces. Pritchard led the team with four blocks.
Nicole Alford paced the team in assists (25) and digs (9).
Next, Maryland plays in its season finale vs. Iowa at 8 p.m. CT in Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.
