WILMINGTON, Del. -- Eva Alexandrova, Amber Policare and Millie Stretton each picked up a pair of victories as the Maryland women's tennis team topped the Delaware Blue Hens, 4-2, on Sunday.

All three earned both a doubles and a singles victory to lead Maryland to its second triumph of the season. 

The Terps started the day well, winning the doubles point behind wins from Alexandrova and Stretton at first doubles, as well as Policare and partner Zoe Kulkarni at third doubles. Alexandrova and Stetton dominated, winning by a score of 6-1. Kulkarni and Policare's match was decided via tiebreak, with the duo winning 7-4 in the breaker to take the match, 7-6. 

Maryland kept the momentum going when singles play began, with Alexandrova posting a straight-set win at the top singles spot. The sophomore standout won 6-1, 6-2, for her second singles triumph of the year. 

The Blue Hens then cut the lead in half with a win at fourth singles, but Stretton extended the lead back to two with a straight-set win of her own at second singles. The senior ran through Delaware's Sarah Hall, winning 6-1, 6-2. 

Delaware then cut into the Maryland lead again with its win at sixth singles, leaving Maryland in need of one win between the contest's final two matches of the day. 

Policare then stepped up for the Terps, winning her decisive third set by a score of 6-4 to clinch the match for Maryland. The redshirt sophomore split her first two sets before winning the third for her first singles win at Maryland. 

Next, Maryland will conclude its four-match road-trip with a stop in New York City to face Columbia on February 23. Opening serve is slated for 11 a.m.
