LANCASTER, Pa. -- Four members of the Maryland field hockey squad made USA Field Hockey rosters recently. The Terrapins and Team USA members will make international trips this spring.
Incoming seniors Kelee Lepage and Madison Maguire made the U.S. Developmental Squad and will be on the US's tour of The Netherlands from April 13-22 where they will play two games against the Scotland senior team, one against Belgium's U-21 team
Rising junior Brooke DeBerdine made the U.S. Under-21 travel squad and will travel April 17-24 to Monchengladbach, Germany for a 3 Nations Invitational with Germany's U-21 team and Great Britain's U-21 team.
Rising sophomore Riley Donnelly, incoming freshman Emma DeBerdine and the U.S. Under-19 Team will travel to Dusseldorf to take on Germany's U-18 team twice and Belgium's U-18 team April 14-22.
"I'm very proud of our Terps who have earned the opportunity to represent their country in their respective age groups," Maryland associate head coach Katie Bam said. "Playing for your country at any age group is an amazing opportunity. We are all looking forward to hearing about their playing and culture experiences in Holland and Germany."
