Assistant Coach-Men's Basketball

The Assistant Coach will provide coaching, recruiting, and administrative support to the Head Coach in all aspects of an NCAA Division I-A men's basketball program. The Assistant Coach will develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general public. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Big Ten Conference and University rules and regulations, as well as dedication to the full academic development of student-athletes are essential. The Assistant Coach will also perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree required. Must have successful collegiate or professional level coaching experience. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations to recruit off-campus is required. Proven integrity, leadership, and a thorough knowledge of college basketball is required. Candidate should possess a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically and athletically qualified student-athletes.
