BTN Student U Program Assistants

The Maryland Athletics Department is seeking out students to assist with its BTN Student U Program. The Student U Program allows students an opportunity to get real-world production experience by using state-of-the-art equipment to produce games for the BTN+ platform. Students will learn how to use NewTek Tricaster and 3Play, Vizrt Graphics, RTS Communications, Sony and JVC cameras, and other broadcast equipment. Broadcast roles include: Director, Producer, Technical Director, Camera Operator, Replay Operator, Graphics Operator, Play-by-Play announcer, and Color Announcer. Students who have graduated from the Student U Program have secured jobs and internships at ESPN, the Washington Nationals, MiLB organizations, news stations, etc.

Job Description:
- Assist in the game day operations for BTN Student U
- Transport, set up, operate, and tear down broadcast equipment
- Collaborate with Broadcasting and Production staff
- Positions are paid!
- Must be a student at Maryland University
- Flexible Schedule, including weekend and evening availability
- Experience with cameras is preferred, but not required
