Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week: Audrey Barber

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2019-20 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is junior Audrey Barber of gymnastics.
Junior Audrey Barber set a new Maryland Gymnastics record on on bars where she earned a 9.950. Barber set two career-best scores on Sunday, both on bars and a 9.925 on floor exercise. For the second meet in a row she earned the highest all-around score In the competition with an Impressive 39.425.
Barber's consistent scores helped launch the Terps to a 196.125 final score, prolonging the best start in program history. She is the highest ranked Big Ten gymnast on bars and Is tied for 11th In the nation on both bars and all-around.
