Hello Terp Nation,
As we turn the page from Fall to Winter, we say thank you to our dedicated, passionate and hardworking student-athletes and coaches who represent us incredibly well in the Big Ten Conference and on the national stage. We also say a very big thank you to our newest Terrapin Club members for taking the leap and participating in the Terps 10,000 campaign.
As of this letter, I am extremely excited to report that we have already surpassed 55% of our goal of 10,000 members nationwide! This is an unbelievable accomplishment just four months into the campaign.
THANK YOU TERP NATION for rallying around our cause – providing scholarships to our 500+ student-athletes each year. Let's keep the momentum going. Join us – if you haven't done so already. We need the support of Terps near and far to reach our goal. If you are already a member, spread the positive message of the Terrapin Club to your family and friends. Memberships also make a great holiday gift.
Let's show our Terrapin pride and knock the socks off our goal. We can do it. We're Terps – let's prove it!
As we head into winter, we have so much to cheer for. Our Men's and Women's Basketball Teams are nationally ranked and performing very well. Something special is happening at XFINITY Center and all of us can be very proud. Wrestling, Gymnastics, Track & Field, and our spring sports will be in full swing very soon, and I hope to catch you at an event soon! Let's continue to rally around all of our student-athletes and coaches.
