Who better to wrap up the Maryland Basketball Record Breakers series presented by Chesapeake Employers Insurance than the ironman of Terrapin hoops himself, Anthony Cowan, Jr. Cowan holds the records for consecutive starts (130) and free throws made, and was primed to further bolster his illustrious Maryland records before the 2020 Big Ten and NCAA Tournaments were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Cowan discussed his mindset coming to Maryland as a freshman, watching opponents struggle to shoot free throws at the student wall and holding clinics in the area since the end of his Maryland career.
