How did you first get involved with the Terrapin Club?
Ted: I joined the Terrapin Club and bought season tickets for Football in Coach Friedgen's first year, 2001. It was an odd season because of 9/11. Some of the early games had limited attendance, but I remember going to every game and watching MD play for the ACC Championship with my father, William K Rose (UMD tenured Astronomy Professor at the time).
What motivates you to give so generously?
Ted: I received two degrees from University of MD, Accounting and an MBA and my father moved the family to Maryland in 1971 when he became a tenured professor of Astronomy. UMD has been a big part of my life from childhood to date. You could say, literally and figuratively, I would not be here without UMD!
Do you have a message you would like to share with other donors and fans?
Ted: Keep the faith, we have a history to be proud of and great years ahead!
Do you have an anecdote about Maryland Athletics or the Terrapin Club that you would share?
Aaron Rose: I have no idea what my first Maryland sports memory is, I just know I've been tailgating and cheering the Terps for as long as I can remember.

What do you hope Maryland Athletics will achieve this year?
Ted: Show the Big Ten that we are back as a basketball powerhouse and that we can compete and win in football as well.
If you could go back in time and witness one Terps game live (in any sport), what would it be and why?
Ted: 2002 National Championship Game for basketball, UMD comeback verse Miami in 1984 for football
What is the first Maryland game you ever went to?
Ted: The first MD game I went to was in the 70's. Maryland was playing Villanova, I went with my father and brother. The first game that Ryan and Aaron remember was the Gator Bowl against West Virginia.
What do you want to see Maryland Athletics achieve moving forward?
Ted: I'd like to see UMD basketball pick up where they left off last year and build up another long streak of March Madness victories. I'd like UMD football to return to consistent post season victories as well.
What makes Maryland Athletics so special?
Ted: My father brought me and my brother to the games as I did with Ryan and Aaron. When attending football games, we also like to stop by the Alumni Center Courtyard to see the Memorial Brick in honor of my father (pictured below).
