Striving for excellence in everything we do…that's what's happening in College Park.
The energy and excitement of Big Ten Basketball is in full swing. Our Men's and Women's programs are providing great hope for postseason play, and our fan support is amazing. The electricity in XFINITY Center has been fantastic. Thanks to all who help create a strong home court advantage - it truly makes a difference!
There are many great opportunities to catch our teams in action this spring! Our Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams are nationally ranked and are off to a fantastic start. We have two legendary programs with two legendary coaches and too many legendary student-athletes to count. Each team was recently recognized as the Program of the Decade for the 2010s and the best is yet to come.
Our Baseball team brought in its highest recruiting class EVER, our new Softball and Tennis coaches are setting the stage for greatness, and our Golf and Track & Field programs continue to elevate their standard.
Our student-athletes and coaches are striving for excellence in everything they do!
As I move into the second half of my term as president of the Terrapin Club Board of Directors, I wish for nothing but excellence and greatness for our student-athletes, coaches, athletic department, university, and most important to me is the excellence and greatness of our Terrapin Club.
Championships begin with Scholarships and Scholarships begin right here. It's what we do. Each year we provide the funds necessary to educate 500+ student-athletes who bring championships home each year. We started a NATIONWIDE movement in September to grow our Membership to 10,000 Terps Nationwide. Thanks to all who have joined us.
