COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland women's tennis team posted a 7-0 shutout over  Howard on Saturday at the JTCC.

• All six Terps won their singles matches in straight sets. 
• Maryland moves to 8-4 for the season.

  • No. 1: Alexandrova (7-0) defeated Yassmine Khri 6-1, 6-2.
  • No. 2: Adela Josefova defeated Sloane Williams 6-4, 7-6(6) 
  • No. 3: Vera Markovic defeated Yemisi Ifederu 6-3, 6-0.
  • No. 4 Zoe Kulkarni defeated Hana El Sharif 6-3, 6-1.
  • No. 5: Chloe Hamlin defeated Emnet Simunyola 6-1, 6-0.
  • No. 6: Saya Usui defeated Kourtni Steward 6-1, 6-0.
• DOUBLES
  • No. 2: Hamlin and Josefova defeated Kendall Addison and Aria Ragas 6-1.
  • No. 3: Yemelyanenka and Usui defeated Alexandra Blackwell and Sydney Taylor 6-0.
  • Alexandrova and Kulkarni were up 4-1 over Williams and Ifederu at the time the Terps took the doubles point.
