Each week during the spring, umterps.com will profile a different member of the Maryland women's soccer team leading up to the 2020 season. This week we'll get to know Anissa Mose, who will embark on her senior season with the Terps as one of the squad's most dynamic and experienced players. Whether she's patrolling the backline, distributing in the midfield or setting up one of her teammates off a corner, Mose's presence is a constant on the pitch for Maryland.
What was your favorite moment from last season?
Beating Rutgers at Rutgers
What are your goals for next season?
To clinch a spot in the top six of the conference and host the first round of the conference tournament
What attracted you to the University of Maryland?
The fact that I would be able to represent my home state
If you could play another sport at Maryland what would it be?
Volleyball or gymnastics. I was a gymnast when I was younger and I wish I never stopped and I've always wanted to play volleyball!
What is your favorite memory from playing soccer?
My favorite memory was winning the North American Cup Championship in Seattle, Washington with my club team in 2015.
Favorite class you've taken at Maryland so far?
Sign language
Are you a good cook, what's your favorite thing to make?
I would say that I am pretty good. I like to make chicken fajitas with rice and black beans on the side
What is your favorite thing about yourself?
My passion and drive
What is the best vacation you have ever been on?
Probably Las Vegas
If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?
Clothes or shoes
