One a five-star. One a walk-on
Both doubted in the draft process.
Both WORKED to get to this spot.
Both showed out in the playoffs.
Proud of these two Maryland natives. pic.twitter.com/ukENpTXsoK

Michael Dunn
From being undrafted in 2017 to being signed by the Browns in the 2020 preseason to making his first career start in the playoffs.Safe to say it was a huge Sunday night for Michael Dunn.
Dunn started at left guard and helped the Browns score 48 points and upset the Steelers by a 48-37 score. What a road for our guy Michael Dunn:
— Maryland Football (@TerpsFootball) January 11, 2021
2017: Undrafted.
2018: Cut by two NFL teams.
2019: Signs in the AAF and XFL.
2020: Cut by the Browns in camp.
2021: Starts in the Playoffs and does work.
Perseverance. pic.twitter.com/oi5L6rugDQ
But Dunn didn't just start at left guard, he impressed, earning a strong grade of 81.0 from Pro Football Focus. Not done yet.#WeWantMore pic.twitter.com/kY7T8KbYq3

Because the Browns facility was shutdown all week due to COVID, where did Dunn practice? His apartment complex parking lot.#Browns Kevin Stefanski on guard Michael Dunn: "I thought he was outstanding, great in his effort, his technique, his assignment."

For the first start of #TeamDEC client @Browns left guard @MikeDunn4Real career tonight at Pittsburgh this is how he practiced. His girlfriend with the assist and epic "yellow snow" play-call! pic.twitter.com/IzVz2FUvhc

Great story from The Athletic on Dunn's journey and week of preparation.Among 27 guards with qualifying snaps in #WildCardWeekend, #Browns Michael Dunn's 82.4 run blocking grade ranked fourth (pictured below at practice)

When the Browns couldn't practice last week, Michael Dunn got his own reps in a parking lot. When Dunn found out he was starting, he watched every snap Cameron Heyward played in the 2020 season.

Last year at this time, he was getting ready for the XFL https://t.co/hVJCBgyq4N
