Maryland enters the 2021 season coming off a successful 2020 bout, including a title at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla., beating six Top 50 teams along the way.
"We couldn't be more excited about having the entire team back together and competing safely. We are thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to compete in the sport that we love and very much look forward to taking the team to some awesome courses in the next few months. Our schedule has a great mix of teams and we look forward to testing our level after a long break. More than anything, I am looking forward to being around our amazing group of women golfers who have continued to work hard and kept their bond strong throughout these tough times. They are eager to make the best out of this semester and pick up where we left off from our win in Miami last March. We will take it one day at a time, one shot at a time, and I am confident that we will accumulate tremendous performances along with wonderful memories", Cantu said.
