Week Five started with two of the newest Terps in the league,
Jake Funk and Tyler Mabry, competing on Thursday night, with Funk's Los Angeles Rams defeating Mabry's Seattle Seahawks. The two old friends made sure to take a picture after the game.
Lots of Terps made big contributions in Week Five. Let's see who stood out in the this edition of Terps in the NFL:
Ty Johnson
NFL fans woke up to the New York Jets facing the Atlanta Falcons in London on Sunday morning and before they were able to have their second cup of coffee, Ty Johnson had reached paydirt.
Yannick Ngakoue
Yannick lived in the Bears backfield in Sunday's game, recording three total tackles, two sacks, two quarterback hits and a tackle for loss.
His first one ended the first half.
His second one came on a nice move.
Wise words from Yan.
Darnell Savage Jr.
Darnell Savage Jr. and the Green Bay Packers played in one of the best games of the day, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime 25-22. Darnell tallied six tackles in the win (five solo) and a pass breakup. But the pass breakup wasn't good enough for Savage, he promises more.
This tackle saved a first down.
❤️🔥💫
J.C. Jackson
J.C. Jackson had a great game on the field on Sunday, recording five tackles and a pass breakup, to put him eighth in the NFL with five pass breakups. However, the big news involving J.C. was that fellow CB Stephon Gilmore left the Patriots, elevating Jackson to the #1 corner role.
Pats fans were happy.
