ANN ARBOR, MI –The Maryland volleyball team (14-5, 2-5 Big Ten) fell to the Michigan Wolverines (11-5, 4-3 B1G) on Friday night at Cliff Keen Arena in straight sets, 3-0 (15-25, 26-28, 20-25).

- Paula Neciporuka led the Terps with nine kills, including five in the first set.
- Rainelle Jones was right behind her with seven kills of her own.
Service Line Success
- Sophomore Lexy Finnerty had two aces on the night.
- Middle blocker Hannah Thompson also added an ace, only her third of the year.
- Cara Lewis, Maddie Naumann, and Erin Engel all saw extensive action in the third set, with Naumann getting three digs and Lewis collecting two blocks.
- Lewis also added four kills, including the final Terps kill of the night.
- The Terps will stay in the state of Michigan as they'll travel to take on the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 6:30 PM inside Jenison Fieldhouse.
