COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Big Ten Network will broadcast its B1G Tailgate show live from Ludwig Field on Saturday morning, Oct. 30, beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the Terrapins hosting Indiana for Maryland's annual Homecoming game (Noon on Big Ten Network). The set will be on the south side of Ludwig Field near Parking Lot 1.
With Brock Vereen and Annie Sabo on-site in College Park, B1G Tailgate is the home for Big Ten football fans on Saturday mornings with original features, special guests, and Big Ten analysis live from campus. Now in its sixth season, B1G Tailgate features segments from the Big Ten Network studios in Chicago, hosted by Dave Revsine featuring analysts Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffth and Joshua Perry.
Members of Maryland men's and women's basketball teams are all set to make live appearances on the show along with former Terrapin football stars from the 2001 ACC Champions, as that team will be honored at Saturday's game. Football coach
Michael Locksley will also appear on the show via a pre-taped interview. The set will be located at the entrance to Ludwig Field near Lot 1. Terp fans can make signs onsite or bring their own to show live on Big Ten Network.
B1G Tailgate originates from a different Big Ten campus each week, beginning at 10 a.m. leading into the first games of the day at Noon. B1G Tailgate is free and open to the public. Saturday's event at Maryland includes the following exciting features:
