State Champion Coltin Deery Signs with Terps
12/13/2021 2:29:00 PM | Wrestling
Hailing from one of the top wrestling states in the nation, Pennsylvania, Deery is a 2021 State Champion. He will also be competing with the Maryland football program after signing as a three-star offensive lineman.
Just a few weeks ago Maryland signed Kal Miller, the younger brother of freshman Ethen Miller. The Terps are coming off last year's eighth-ranked recruiting class in the nation.
Maryland is currently riding a three-match winning streak with victories over Drexel, Duke, and Navy. It's the program's first three-match winning streak since November 2017. Maryland continues the 2021-22 season at home on January 7 against Penn State. For tickets, check HERE.

Cole Deery on Maryland: It is everything I ever wanted in a college. I could play football and wrestle here which has been my dream since I was young. Both programs are top tier programs and everything is going in the right direction.
Head coach Alex Clemsen: We couldn't be happier about having the big boy joining our team here. Thanks to Coach Locks for green-lighting the opportunity.
