2021-22 SAAC Executive Board Announced

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The 2021-22 University of Maryland Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board has been announced. Redshirt sophomore Katie Dustin of the softball team will serve as the President for the upcoming year.
"This year as SAAC president, I want to grow the number of open conversations held amongst our members in order to help our student-athletes succeed on and off the field," said Dustin. "SAAC is such an important organization and resource, and can be used to make real change throughout our athletic department and promote the ONE MARYLAND ideal!"
The SAAC is a leadership group comprised of student-athlete representatives across every sport within Maryland Athletics. Members of SAAC serve the entire-athlete body through their dedication to acting as liaisons between student-athletes, the athletic administration and the NCAA along with building and strengthening campus-wide relationships. SAAC's mission is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by cultivating skills and service initiatives, promoting student-athlete welfare, and enhancing the student-athlete voice.
