COLLEGE PARK, MD -Â The Maryland women's soccer team returns to competition this weekend for two more non-conference matchups starting first with its third straight home game Thursday, September 2 vs. George Washington. Kickoff at Ludwig Field is slated for 7 p.m.
The Terrapins will then head to Philadelphia for a Sunday showdown at Saint Joseph's. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Â
Thursday's game will be streamed on Big Ten Plus. Sunday's match will be streamed on ESPN+.

- On Thursday Maryland women's soccer will honor former Cincinnati women's soccer player Ally Sidloski, who tragically lost her life this past May. Â
- This loss hit close to home for Ohio natives Hope Lewandoski, Loren Sefcik and Brooke Weston, who all played with Sidloski throughout their youth soccer days.
- Maryland and its players will use the hashtag #WePlayFor3 on social media to honor Sidloski, who wore No. 3 for the Bearcats during her career.

comeback kids
- After falling behind 1-0 in the seventh minute of the game, Maryland rallied for its first comeback win of the season in a 2-1 victory over Richmond on Thursday.
- Adalee Broadbent spearheaded the rally, launching a shot from 35 yards out over the goalkeeper's head to tie the game in the 68th minute. It marked the third goal in Broadbent's career and first since 2019.
- After Toni Domingos was taken down in the box in the 74th minute, Catherine DeRosa stepped to take the penalty where after a pause, she calmly buried the ball behind the goalie.
- The win pushed Maryland to 3-0 for the first time since 2017.

- Maryland is 10-6-4 all-time vs. George Washington, last facing the Colonials in 2019 when the teams played to a 1-1 tie.
- Sunday will mark the first-ever meeting between Maryland and Saint Joseph's.

Not Short of Scoring Options
- Maryland has had seven different goal scorers through it first four games, a testament to the plethora of scoring weapons on this year's roster.
- Alyssa Poarch leads the way with two goals and an assist, while six other Terps have tallied a goal. Â Kori Locksley and Emily McNesby have both notched a goal and assist in the young season.
- Additionally, Toni Domingos and Olivia Hicks have both added assists.

- Three of Maryland's back four defenders have played in all 360 minutes of game action so far this season.
- Centerbacks Adalee Broadbent and Malikae Dayes, in addition to outside back Olivia Hicks have been critical pieces for the Terps defense, helping the team to two erly season shutouts.
- Transfer goalkeeper Liz Brucia has also seen all 360 minutes of action in the cage, making eight saves while holding a 1.00 goals against average.
