Maryland Announces 2022-23 Indoor Track and Field Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Terps track and field program has announced their 2022-23 Indoor Track and Field schedule. 

The Terps will return a number of athletes who have solidified themselves in the Maryland record books in recent seasons, and will look to continue to set forth positive personal and team performances this season.

The track and field squads will kick off their seasons with one meet prior to the winter break, taking on the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, MD, on December 3rd.

The Terps will next compete on January 14th at the Nittany Lion Invitational hosted by Penn State University after break commences. The next week, the Terps will travel to Virginia Tech to compete in the Hokie Invitational (1/20). Maryland will return to Virginia Tech for the Doc Hale Virginia Tech Invite on February 3rd - 4th. 

Maryland's squads will also compete in two weekends of split meets, taking on the Columbia Challenge and competing at George Mason on January 27-28. Then on February 10-11, at Clemson and the Darius Dixon Invitational in Lynchburg, VA. 

The women's track and field squad will begin post season competition at the Big Ten Indoor Championship Meet (2/24-25) at the Spire Institute. NCAA Indoor Championships will be held in Albuquerque, NM, on March 10-11.
