COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland gymnastics team will compete in the annual Eleveate the Stage meet in Toledo, Ohio. Fans can follow along on Twitter, @TerpsGymnastics, in addition to a live stream and stats.
The GymTerps last competed at home against No. 6 Minnesota and Pitt, proving victorious over the two teams and placing their name in the record books with a fourth-all time team score of 196.700. Pitt came in second with a 196.450, while No. 6 Minnesota posted third with a 196.225. The victory was the highest over a ranked team for the Maryland Gymnastics program.
Minnesota had a gymnast place the best individual score in all of the events, but the Terps' depth proved to be the difference in the tri-meet. Audrey Barber posted the Terps' best all-around score with a 39.425 while Emma Silberman finished with a 39.275. Barber now moves to the third-highest all around scorer in program history.
Maryland will compete in a five-meet against fellow Big Ten opponents No. 22 Ohio State, No. 17 Iowa, Illinois, and No. 1 Michigan.
