UNIVERSITY PARK, PA – The Terps tennis team (17-6) was victorious in Sunday afternoon's showdown against Penn State, winning 4-1. The Terps claimed their 17th win of the season, which ties the program record for regular season wins - previously set in 1988 when the Tennis Terps battled to a 17-10 record. Maryland finished the Big Ten season with a 6-5 mark, its best conference record since going 7-4 in 2017.
Maryland started the match in University Park strong, taking the doubles point with wins from Cadar/Brumfield and Perez Mur/Miranda. The Terps success continued into singles play, as Perez Mur, Brumfield and Liu all claimed victories for the squad.
