Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of The Week - Leah Crouse

College Park, MD -- Each week during the 2022-23 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.

This week's Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week is Graduate Student Leah Crouse of Maryland Field Hockey.

Leah Crouse was a key part of a two win weekend for Maryland. The Virginia Beach, Virginia native scored two goals across both games including punching in her fourth game winning goal of the season to lift the Terrapins to a 1-0 victory over No.8 Michigan in overtime.

Crouse has been a continuous threat in midfield for the Terps, scoring seven goals and distributing three assists through 10 games. The midfielder is one of the top play-makers in the country currently ranking 27th in goals per game and 30th in points per game across all of Division I field hockey.

Maryland will return to action as they travel to No. 5 Iowa on Friday Sept. 30 at 4:00 p.m.
