COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland football fans are now able to purchase the jerseys of their favorite Terrapin players, while also helping student-athletes monetize their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) through Fanatics' NIL jersey program, which was announced on Thursday.
Replica black, officially-licensed Maryland jerseys, complete with the Under Armour logo, are available by clicking here. Fans can choose their favorite Terp via the drop-down roster menu.
"This is an exciting opportunity for both our fans and our players," said Maryland Head Coach Michael Locksley. "Creating these customized jerseys allows our fans to both represent us with what they wear, while also benefiting our student-athletes financially at the same time. This is another example of how Maryland continues to lead the way in the NIL landscape."
The Terps are one of a select group of schools participating in the launch of Fanatics' groundbreaking NIL jersey program.
All current student-athletes, who have agreed to participate, are eligible to have jerseys made and will take a percentage of revenue from each jersey sale.
Maryland continues to be a leader in creating NIL deals for its student-athletes through its MOMENTUM program. The Terps have also partnered with Opendorse to optimize NIL and brand marketing for its student-athletes.
