Coach Nemzer's Take
"I just want to say thank you to all the seniors. They came here, believed in what we're building and what we're doing, and that definitely doesn't go unnoticed. For all of them, we talked about leaving a legacy and building stepping stones for the future. So I'm really proud of what they've done."

"This is the season that's going to ignite us. You have a lot of youngsters on this team that understand what their responsibility is to do it. I think it's going to get us regrouped and refocused. I know there's a bright future in this program."

Krista Varrichione Reflects On Her Final Game as a Terp
"I've loved every year that I've spent here. And I think that the direction that this program is going is great and the culture is a great environment. We told the younger players, just every sprint that they do, every practice that they go into, just remember what it feels like to be on the end of a season like this and to grow from it and to push harder for next season. We have all the tools and we know that we have what it takes. Megan is an unbelievable coach. The way that she's able to get the best work out of her players is phenomenal. And I know that in the next few years Maryland is going to be at the top."
