SAN DIEGO, CA- The University of Maryland women's tennis team finished their first day of competition at the ITA Fall National Championships.

Selma Cadar came into Fall Nationals qualified for singles and doubles competition. Cadar fell to Malaika Rapolu (UT) in singles.
Mary Brumfield qualified for Fall Nationals in doubles with Cadar for the second year in a row. The doubles team picked up a hard fought win against strong UCSB opponents.Â
